چکیده
Depletion of soil fertility, depletion macro- and micro-nutrients organic matter inappropriate imbalanced fertilizer application are among the most important factors that reduces food barley production in Ethiopia. Therefore, experiment was conducted to evaluate NPSB blended rate effect on improving Semen Ari District, Southwestern Ethiopia during main cropping season. Control, (142 NPS + 159 Urea) kg ha-1, (150 41 (200 72 (250 102 ha-1 (100 161 treatments were used for which laid out RCBD following three replication with spacing 20 cm between rows; HB 1307 improved seeds drilled prepared rows. Full dose potassium fertilizers applied at planting time urea two split. The result revealed responded well N, P, S B than unfertilized one. Application 100 Urea resulted highest grain yield 3806.3 while lowest 1939.2 recorded from nil. Moreover, net benefit 32124.56 ETB economic returns 942.2% response Urea. gave 49.05% increment 40.24% return over control. we recommend farmers investor’s study area similar agro-ecologies as it optimum production. Further studies investigation should be done plant nutrient uptake, use efficiency location. Int. J. Agril. Res. Innov. Tech. 11(2): 10-17, Dec 2021

متن کاملLysine Catabolism in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).
Lysine catabolism in seedlings of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. var. Emir) was studied by direct injection of the following tracers into the endosperm of the seedlings: aspartic acid-3-(14)C, 2-aminoadipic acid-1-(14)C, saccharopine-(14)C, 2,6-diaminopimelic acid-1-(7)-(14)C, and lysine-1-(14)C. Labeled saccharopine was formed only after the administration of either labeled 2,6-diaminopimelic acid...
متن کاملAllelopathic Plants. 19. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L)
Barley is integrated with other crops to inhibit weed growth, through allelopathic interactions. Effects of barley on growth of other crops, weeds and autotoxicity among cultivars result primarily from allelopathy mediated by allelochemicals released from plant components and/or exuded from living roots. A limited number of allelochemicals are identified that contributes to allelopathic effecti...
متن کاملIdentification of a Phytase Gene in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)
BACKGROUND Endogenous phytase plays a crucial role in phytate degradation and is thus closely related to nutrient efficiency in barley products. The understanding of genetic information of phytase in barley can provide a useful tool for breeding new barley varieties with high phytase activity. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis for phytase activity was condu...
متن کاملEffect of genotype on androgenesis in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)
Current study was set up to determine the response of 12 Iranian winter diploid barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivars to anther culture on solid FHG induction medium supplemented with 90 mg/l sucrose, 2 mg/l 2,4-D and 0.1 mg/l kinetin. For cold pretreatment each selected spike was kept in a refrigerator at 4 C for 14 days. The experimental design consisted of a completely randomized design (CRD...
